New York native Lisa David Dean was 5 years old when the acting bug bit her. She had just seen The Fantasticks (the longest-running off-Broadway show ever) and remembers thinking, “People get paid for this? No f***in’ way! I wanna do that!”
Lisa has done TV, film, voice-over, and commercial work. She is a recurring sketch comedy actress on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno. She does stand-up comedy at some of L.A.’s premier comedy clubs, including The Improv and The Icehouse. Lisa has performed award winning theatre throughout L.A. & N.Y., including her first solo show "God's Will, Not Mine."
Lisa is enjoying great success with her most recent solo show "The Monster Under My Bed Drank My Vodka". She performed a sold-out run of her show, to rave reviews, at The New York International Fringe Festival. She shot a pilot presentation with Fox Television Studios and is currently working with writer Jason Richman (Swing Vote) and director Joel Zwick (My Big Fat Greek Wedding) to develop "Monster" into a comedy series. She continues to perform her show live in Los Angeles.
